In my very first episode, I invited Kristie Estevez, Esq of the Estevez Law Group to give us some Q&A on Understanding Home Titles and Title Insurance.

Kristie was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She completed a bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Then returned to Miami to complete a law degree at the University of Miami. Although having practiced in several different areas of law, her passion and focus has been real estate transactions from contract to closing.

She loves to help others achieve the American Dream of owning their own home. Whether it is their first or tenth transaction. She takes great pleasure in serving her community as an attorney and title agent.

In this episode we cover the following:

  • What is Title Insurance and is it necessary for home buyers?
  • What do home Title Insurance polices cover?
  • As a Buyer or Seller how are your funds handled in a Real Estate Transaction?
  • How to choose a Title Agent or Company to work with?

We cover a lot more of the real estate process in this Q&A session.

After listening to this episode please be sure to leave your comments below.

Transcript of this episode below:

Hello, everyone. Welcome to my podcast: Sam the Realtor. My name is Samuel Awosolu. I’ll be your host. I’m a real estate agent, part-time investor, and entrepreneur. I’m currently living in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, area. I transitioned from a long career in healthcare to pursue real estate as a residential and commercial sales agent. I represent buyers, sellers, and investors. They come from all over the world.

My plan for this podcast is to become a resource to you, become that person you go to when you want to find out information about South Florida real estate. On my show, I plan on having industry experts in the real estate industry. Particularly in the state of Florida and beyond. These are people that are experts in their field. They include real estate attorneys, title agents, appraisers, home inspectors, mortgage lenders, other agents that specialize in other areas of real estate, photographers, stagers, you name it. If they have anything to do with the real estate process or the transaction, I will interview them and have them on this show so that they can provide their expertise and knowledge to you so that you can do your proper due diligence and make good decisions when buying or selling real estate in South Florida.
